My Actifit Report Card: August 12 2024
without not much thought of where to go, this nightwalker went out and spent the night enjoying the breeze.
sometimes you just have to listen to your guts; i have explored this side of town this long, i'm sure i won't be in trouble.
but of course, this knee could be a problem.
for those who haven't read the story of my life these past days, my left knee was almost unable to take big steps after the hiking trip last saturday.
it got really painful and is still recovering to this day.
so here i am back to taking baby steps, this night walker has got to learn to walk again.
it has been fine recently, the pain is still there and i really don't know when it gets triggered.
so far, my knees gives pain jolts the moment i use them after some rest.
quite weird to be honest, the instant i start moving them after minutes of no activity is when it gets painful.
so now i am here to test the limits, at which point will it not be fine?
the road so far has been flat.
relatively even.
for the first time in this nightwalker journey tonight, i took stairs.
just a short one, just enough to reach this metal ball structure up front.
i guess that was not much of a problem.
continued walking up this raised walkway some more, i will have to go down some stairs at some point for sure.
and going down could be the problem.
but first, i got to appreciate this monstrous train station.
it is apparently housed in quite a big grand building, i have always been inside this thing that i sometimes forget how grand it truly is.
walking further until i reached the stairs back down to earth, this is the moment of truth.
will it hurt or will it not?
one...
two...
three... oh that hurts a little.
i guess twisting hurts a bit.
but it hurts not only the knee but the other aching muscles as well.
that is a good sign.
will have the entire week to figure this out, i'm leaning to just a normal muscle soreness which somehow affected some knee tissues.
reached ground level with not much of a problem.
and this blue period anime installation greeted me.
do you guys even know what this anime is about?
i am pretty sure this was not for everyone, only a few would have surely appreciated this anime.
it was about art, a student in an art school, about his journey to getting to know what his art was.
it was not for everyone, but i was deeply touched as i patiently waited for each episode to come every week.
maybe this short recommendation will get you watching this show, and if you do, drop by a comment.
or maybe you were one of us few who enjoyed this anime, share that as well.
i further walked to the next station, passed over bridge overlooking the train tracks.
a train was currently passing by, another excuse for me to snap pictures.
i love taking pictures of things in motion, you just don't know how they get captured in still frame.
did this shot give you an idea how fast the train was travelling?
i was finally nearing home, the streets were getting quieter and lonelier.
i wonder whether this shop near home has been getting enough sales, a shop i enjoyed has put up a closure notice for this month's end.
shops around this area come and go in an instant.
it is a residential place full of foreigners, and foreigners are sometimes afraid to get inside local shops.
i totally get it though, the language barrier is a tall wall to climb over.
but i really hope these small local shops survive.
it was a light walk indeed.
quite a long one but still a light walk.
i wonder how my knees and legs will do tomorrow.
as always, stay safe!

Don't you want to get it check? Bala lang alam mo na, just to make sure diba? Especially you just had a long hike. Anyways, still, this walk of yours seems enjoyable despite the pain you're experiencing. And I feel like it is safe even at night to have your night walk in there compare sa atin.
I would think going down stairs would be the most painful…..
Sounds like it will take time to heal my friend !😮
don't worry. it is not a sharp pain anymore.
Good to hear my friend!👍😊

oi why is there a collab between blue period and ueno station? as far as i can recall, shibuyaっぽい man ang blue period hehe
i don't really know but ueno has art museums. i guess that could be the reason
It is good your knee didn't give you that much trouble. I hope it doesn't pain you too much when you awake. It is so nice you are able to walk so far and do it safely.
thanks. it is not as painful anymore.
That is good to hear. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
