slept late the other day, yet again. sleeping is really the bane of my progress. but it is also possible that my fitbit was not able to detect my sleeping time, not a good excuse but i'll hold on this belief for a bit. it was raining a bit so i took this picture just to capture the glow before going to sleep. but i must have over exaggerated the white balance admittedly. glows like this are attractive to my colorblind eyes so please forgive me on that.

it was the last day pf the working week; as such, i am just excited for the day to end. the work hours flew so fast i forgot what i did. or probably i was not paying attention at all, mind elsewhere. good thing that there was nothing which required deep concentration.

so night finally came and we had arms and shoulders day. no cardio this time, which means that my step count would be very low today. to compensate, i walked around the gym during rest times. that had little effect most likely but it is better than nothing, isn't it? other gym goers must have found it weird or funny but i figured that as long as i am not bothering them that would be fine. no harm done, i hope so.

i must admit something though. as you may have read in previous entries, i am a mobile gacha game addict, addict may be too much to describe it but i have a considerable number of gacha games installed. so while i was walking around the gym in between sets, i was actually playing some games. and i find this new game afk journey to be the most fitting to play that time, not much concentration required and fights are automated most of the time (unless your team gets defeated so you have to manually do something).

now back to the routine, cardio was minimal but my arm and shoulder muscles were pushed to the limit. i don't really know what it is but i have been finding it hard to properly execute the routines these few days, my muscle mass probably decreased. i hope not.

  • pull-ups (12 x 10)
  • barbell bicep curl (24.7kg x 3 x 12)
  • barbell overhead press (24.7kg x 3 x 12)
  • dumbbell shoulder press (40kg x 3 x 12) <-------- i have been struggling in this routine
  • seated biceps curls (25kg x 3 x 12) <-------- and this is getting more and more difficult to do
  • hammer curls (20kg x 3 x 12)
  • dumbbell front raises (16kg x 3 x 12)
  • dumbbell side lateral raise (16kg x 3 x 30) (front, mid, and back)

and expectedly, my step count was low. oh well, i will just have to do better tomorrow.

today is hive power up day and here i am powering up my account. sadly i couldn't participate last month and was a bit bummed out. my conversion did not push through within time the last time, so... my fault. charged to experience.

this time, i have been trying to be more active. there are so many things you can do in hive really, i am currently looking into some contests, might as well make use of these photos i have been taking. it is also a good way to connect to lots of people. seriously, there are so many interesting entries shared in hive that it feels like i have been gaining knowledge day by day.

anyways, what are your goals for this month guys?

as always, stay safe!
AMPING KANUNAY MGA MAANYAG!
