He captured a Spanish warship in his early life and became the master of the Spanish ship that became the basis of his heroic tales. captured and sunk many American warships in the Mediterranean and imposed taxes on America, the Ottoman Empire was the first and only empire to impose taxes on the United States, an upset America formed the Treaty of Tripoli with itself, the first and only treaty written in a foreign language in American history,
America had to pay 642,000 Turkish gold coins for this treaty and 12,000 gold coins annually. Ghazi Hassan Pasha kept a lion in Algeria.
Gazi Hasan Pasha built a new and modern Turkish fleet within three years, and today Hasan Pasha founded the Turkish naval academies, as well as built many mosques and schools. Hasan Pasha had no children. Hasan Pasha died in 1790 AD.
