The traditions of the children of Israel neither accept them as true (because they may be false) nor deny them (because they may be true)… However, one thing is certain that some things are really worthy of being read. One such interesting tradition is presented:

It is said that Hazrat Sulaiman bin Dawood (peace be upon him) had some sheep under the supervision of a shepherd. One day a wolf came to him and said:
"Give me a sheep!"
Surprised, the shepherd replied:
"These sheep are the property of Hazrat Sulaiman (peace be upon him), I am only their keeper!"
The wolf said:
"So go and ask Hazrat Sulaiman if he allows me to give him a sheep?"
The shepherd said:
"I am afraid that if I leave you will attack the sheep."
The wolf laughed and said:
"Until you come back, I will watch over the sheep myself, God forbid that I betray, but if I do, I will become a man near the end of the last Ummah."
Hearing this, the shepherd left.
