It is narrated that "Dhu al-Qarnayn" (who is also mentioned in the Quran) was the only son of his mother, and as we all know, he traveled to the east and west of the earth, achieved conquests and invited people.
When he reached Babylon, he was struck by a serious illness, and he felt that his life was coming to an end. At that moment, the only thought that came to his mind was how much his mother would be saddened by his death. So he sent his mother a large ram and a letter, in which he wrote:
"Mother, this world is mortal, and for everyone there is a fixed period, and a certain age is determined. If you receive news of my death, slaughter this ram and cook its meat, and prepare food from it. Then invite people to come, but do not let anyone who has lost a loved one come."
When his mother heard of his death, she slaughtered a ram according to his will, prepared its food, and invited people, as her son had said. But she was surprised that no one came to eat.
