One More Day

A new day has passed, where work and duty have forced me to go out to the street to fulfill various commitments already scheduled. It is for this reason that I have had to walk a lot, since as you all know I move throughout the capital using only the subway system and my own feet, which to tell the truth I think is a perfect combination, since when I get on the train cars I have the opportunity to interact closely with the emotional reality that my city lives, while walking along the sidewalks and streets I am improving my physical condition and at the same time I have the opportunity to capture beautiful images of my surroundings.

Un Día Más

Ha pasado un nuevo día, en donde el trabajo y el deber me han obligado a salir a la calle para cumplir con diversos compromisos ya pautados. Es por esta razón que me ha tocado caminar bastante, ya que como todos ustedes saben yo me desplazo a lo largo y ancho de la capital solo usando el sistema subterráneo y mis propios pies, lo cual a decir verdad me parece que es una combinación perfecta, puesto que al subirme en los vagones del tren tengo la oportunidad de interactuar de cerca con la realidad emocional que vive mi ciudad, mientras que al caminar por sus aceras y calles estoy mejorando mi estado físico y al mismo tiempo tengo la oportunidad de capturar bonitas imágenes de mi entorno.

This time the sector called Chacaito was the epicenter of all the scheduled appointments and although it is a geographically very well limited space, I had to move from one point to another constantly, therefore, the step counter was very active and exceeded 5000 steps quite quickly. Chacaito is one of those areas that I like a lot, this because it is an urban environment that is torn between the traditional and the modern, which is constantly changing and from where we can reach with relative ease to interesting points of the Venezuelan capital, also its subway station is one of the largest, being an iconic point within the subway system.

En esta oportunidad el sector denominado como Chacaito fue el epicentro todas las citas pautadas Y aunque se trata de un espacio geográficamente muy bien limitado, tuve que desplazarme de un punto a otro de forma constante, por lo tanto, el contador de pasos estuvo muy activo y superó los 5000 pasos de manera bastante rápida. Chacaito es una de esas zonas que me gustan mucho, esto debido a que se trata de un entorno urbano que se debate entre lo tradicional y lo moderno, el cual se encuentra en constante cambio y desde donde podemos llegar con relativa facilidad a puntos interesantes de la capital venezolana, además su estación de metro es una de las más grandes, siendo un punto icónico dentro del sistema subterráneo.

This was a rather hurried work day, where I had to perform various activities, but as always I also had that chance that allowed me to capture several photographs of those spaces through which I had the opportunity to travel, a situation that makes me proud, because with them is an ideal photographic record to share with all of you. I think it is fantastic that at the same time that I tell you about my day to day life, you also have the great opportunity to know the everyday Caracas, a different look to what we can find in tourist sites and reviews, which undoubtedly is an ideal sample of the reality of a city that is beautiful and at the same time very dynamic.

Esta fue una jornada de trabajo bastante apresurada, en donde me tocó realizar diversas actividades, pero como siempre también tuve ese chance que me permitió capturar diversas fotografías de aquellos espacios por lo cual tuve la oportunidad de transitar, situación que me enorgullece, ya que con ellas queda un registro fotográfico ideal para poder compartir con todos ustedes. Me parece fantástico que al mismo tiempo que les narro mi día a día, también tengan la grandiosa oportunidad de conocer la Caracas cotidiana, una mirada distinta a lo que podemos encontrar en sitios y reseñas turísticas, lo cual sin duda alguna es una muestra ideal de la realidad de una ciudad que es hermosa y al mismo tiempo muy dinámica.
