Living in a city of contrasts is a real luxury, since you have the opportunity to enjoy truly wonderful urban landscapes, where architecture, art and nature come together in a harmonious blend that allows us to enjoy every tour to the fullest. My beautiful Caracas is one of those cities where you never get bored, because thanks to its dynamism there is always something to do, streets to know and landscapes to photograph.

Vivir en una ciudad de contrastes es un verdadero lujo, ya que se cuenta con la oportunidad de disfrutar de paisajes urbanos realmente maravillosos, en donde la arquitectura, el arte y la naturaleza se conjugan en una armoniosa mezcla que nos permite disfrutar al máximo cada recorrido realizado. Mi bella Caracas es de esas ciudades en las cuales uno nunca se aburre, ya que gracias a su dinamismo siempre hay algo que hacer, calles que conocer y paisajes que fotografiar.

In this relaxed and calm vibe I decided to start my way to one of the most famous urbanizations in the east of the city, it is nothing more and nothing less than an area known as Altamira, an upper middle class area where the buildings are characterized by their modern style, the streets are wide and the squares are full of flowers, but at the same time we can find buildings in impeccable state of preservation whose date of birth dates back to the 50's or even further back, which can easily be next to large villas or mansions whose architectural style can vary widely.

En esta onda relajada y tranquila decidí emprender mi camino hacia una de las urbanizaciones más famosas del este de la ciudad, se trata de nada más y nada menos que de una zona conocida como Altamira, un espacio de clase media alta en donde los edificios Se caracterizan por su estilo moderno, las calles son anchas y las plazas están llenas de flores, pero al mismo tiempo podemos encontrar construcciones en impecable estado de conservación cuya fecha de nacimiento se remonta a los años 50 o incluso más atrás, las cuales fácilmente pueden estar al lado de grandes quintas o mansiones cuyo estilo arquitectónico puede variar ampliamente.

But undoubtedly the most interesting thing about walking through this area is to feel that cold mountain breeze, which cools everything in its path. This is one of the most attractive places to take a walk, which allows us to experience the quiet side of a city so convulsed and agitated.

Pero sin duda alguna lo más interesante de caminar por esta zona es sentir esa fría brisa de montaña, la cual refresca todo a su paso, es alguna Esta es uno de los lugares más atractivos para dar un paseo, el cual nos permite vivir el lado tranquilo de una ciudad tan convulsa y agitada.

My walk through Altamira became a walk through a space that looks like a large park, this because nature is present at all times, such as in the shade of the trees, which give us excellent protection from the incredible rays of the sun that as the day progresses become stronger, brighter and hotter.

Mi paseo por Altamira se convirtió en una caminata por un espacio que parece un gran parque, esto debido a que la naturaleza está presente en todo momento, como por ejemplo en la sombra de los árboles, los cuales nos regalan una excelente protección contra los Increíbles rayos del sol que a medida que avanza el día se van convirtiendo en más fuertes, brillantes y calientes.

I am one of those who firmly believe that there is no need for excuses to walk, you just need to have the desire to take each step and enjoy the moment, this is how without realizing it I would leave the limits of the urbanization I was planning to walk and little by little my feet took me further to the east, until I ended up in the Urbanization Los Palos Grandes, an equally attractive space, but perhaps with a more modern touch, but the incredible thing about all this is that one can cross from one side to the other without noticing it, since the wonders of urban conurbation allow us to glide through the city without major setbacks.

Soy de los que cree firmemente que para caminar no hacen falta mayores excusas, solo se requiere tener las ganas para dar cada paso y disfrutar del momento, es de esta forma como sin darme cuenta me saldría de los límites de la urbanización que pensaba recorrer y poco a poco mis pies me llevaron más hacia el este, hasta desembocar en la Urbanización Los Palos Grandes, un espacio igual de atractivo, pero quizás con un toque más moderno, pero lo increíble de todo esto es que uno puede cruzar de un lado a otro sin darse cuenta, ya que las maravillas de la conurbación urbana nos permiten deslizarnos a través de la ciudad sin mayores contratiempos.

One of the most interesting things about these spaces in the northeast of the city is that we face a very peculiar geography, where a flat area and gradually begins the ascent to the foot of the mountain, remember that we are in a valley of irregular characteristics, where the slopes are present throughout the territory, which for me is advantageous, because when facing an ascent even if it is slight, the walk begins to take a new meaning, as it increases the physical demand and at the same time generates better results.

Una de las cosas más interesantes de estos espacios del noreste de la ciudad es que nos enfrentamos a una geografía muy peculiar, en donde un área plana y poco a poco comienza el ascenso hacia el pie de la montaña, recordemos que nos encontramos en un valle de características irregulares, en donde los desniveles están presentes a lo largo y ancho de todo el territorio, lo cual para mí resulta ventajoso, ya que al enfrentarme a un ascenso aunque sea leve la caminata comienza a tomar un nuevo sentido, ya que aumenta la exigencia física y al mismo tiempo genera mejores resultados.
