Urbanization 23 de Enero, located in the west of the city of Caracas, is a popular area, which stands out for being a space that since its constitution has been a constant focus of popular struggles that aim to achieve true political freedom and achieve the long-awaited social demands deserved by a people that for years has been excluded for always being under the standards of the dominant social classes. It is in this way that the Urbanization 23 de Enero has gained an important space within the city, being its streets and boulevards the ideal places to walk and discover the vibrant history of its inhabitants.

La Urbanización 23 de Enero, ubicada en el oeste de la ciudad de Caracas, es una zona popular, la cual se destaca por ser un espacio que desde su constitución ha sido un constante foco de luchas populares que tienen como finalidad lograr una verdadera libertad política y alcanzarlas tan anheladas reivindicaciones sociales que merece un pueblo que durante años ha sido excluido por encontrarse siempre bajo los estándares de las clases sociales dominantes. Es de esta forma como la Urbanización 23 de Enero se ha ganado un espacio importante dentro de la ciudad, siendo sus calles y bulevares los lugares ideales para caminar y descubrir esa historia vibrante con la que cuentan sus habitantes.

Since I can remember I have lived in this place and, therefore, my family is distributed in several areas of the same organization, so I always have the great opportunity to visit them in their respective homes, which is a really enriching walk, because when walking through these sites I can find very interesting scenes that are worth to be photographed, it is for this reason that every time I plan to visit a family member I always try to have my camera or phone in hand, because with them I will certainly generate images that will give for the memory.

Desde que tengo memoria he vivido en este lugar y, por lo tanto, mi familia se encuentra distribuida en varias zonas de la misma organización, con lo cual siempre tengo la grandiosa oportunidad de visitarlos en sus respectivas casas, lo cual constituye un paseo realmente enriquecedor, pues al caminar por estos sitios puedo encontrar escenas muy interesantes que valen la pena hacer fotografiadas, es por esta razón que en cada oportunidad que me planifico para visitar algún familiar siempre procuro tener mi cámara o teléfono en la mano, ya que con ellos sin duda alguna generaré imágenes que darán para el recuerdo.

Taking a photographic walk through any corner of the city accompanied by the first rays of sunlight is a very pleasant experience, as these conditions invite our body to go ahead in a walk that turns out to become a light but effective training, it is also an activity that generates little fatigue and at the same time leaves us with a spiritual tranquility that is difficult to achieve.

Dar un paseo fotográfico por cualquier rincón de la ciudad acompañado de los primeros rayos de la luz del Sol es una experiencia muy agradable, ya que estas condiciones invitan a nuestro cuerpo a seguir adelante en una caminata que resulta convertirse en un entrenamiento ligero, pero eficaz, además es una actividad que genera poco cansancio y al mismo tiempo nos deja una tranquilidad espiritual que es difícil de conseguir.

Thanks to the complexities of the modern world walking has become less and less frequent, as public transportation facilities, cab apps and how fast-paced our life is going are factors that directly push us to choose the fast and easy over the slower, complex and healthy, situation that undoubtedly is detrimental to our physical state and that undoubtedly is quite far from our own human nature, which is why I think there should be a healthy balance between all the factors that flow within our routine, so that in this way we can enjoy a healthier future and at the same time we can enjoy the most of the small details that life gives us.

Gracias a las complejidades del mundo moderno caminar se ha vuelto cada vez menos frecuente, ya que las facilidades de transporte público, las aplicaciones para taxis y lo acelerado que va a nuestra vida son factores que nos impulsan directamente a escoger lo rápido y fácil sobre lo más lento, complejo y saludable, situación que sin duda alguna va en detrimento de nuestro estado físico y que sin duda alguna se aleja bastante de nuestra propia naturaleza humana, es por ello que pienso que debería existir un sano equilibrio entre todos los factores que fluyen dentro de nuestra rutina, para que de esta forma podamos gozar de un futuro más saludable y al mismo tiempo podamos disfrutar al máximo de los pequeños detalles que nos regala la vida.
