La pasada temporada el Chelsea FC posiblemente fue el club que más gasto realizo en reforzar la plantilla, un gasto ideado por los nuevos dueños que imagino querían dar un fuerte impacto a sus aficionados y demás clubes de Europa después de todo lo sucedido con la partida del anterior dueño de ese club, pero desde de un primer momento, la manera de afrontar el mercado de fichajes no fue la adecuada y más cuando los principales objetivos para reforzar el equipo azul de Londres, decidieron fichar por otros clubes, eso hizo que el dinero disponible se usará en jugadores que en mi opinión no era lo que necesitaba para afrontar diferentes competiciones.

Last season Chelsea FC was possibly the club that spent the most on reinforcing the squad, an expense devised by the new owners who I imagine wanted to give a strong impact to their fans and other clubs in Europe after everything that happened with the departure of the previous owner of that club, but from the outset, the way to deal with the transfer market was not adequate and more when the main targets to strengthen the blue team of London, decided to sign for other clubs, that made the money available was used in players that in my opinion was not what was needed to face different competitions.

El Chelsea está obligado a vender y no tanto para recuperar parte del dinero malamente gastado, sino para hacer espacio en un equipo que cuenta en la actualidad con más de 30 jugadores en la plantilla; eso significa que deberá negociar cesiones de jugadores jóvenes a otros clubes, dar salida a jugadores experimentados a los cuales no se le renovarán contratos y la tercera opción que más espera el club, la cual es aceptar una oferta interesante para algunos de sus jugadores y justamente en esa opción es la que (por supuesto) funciona para el club porque recupera en ciertos términos parte del gasto realizado y se libera de la alta ficha de jugadores que no estuvieron o mantuvieron el nivel esperado. El mercado a penas comienza, pero cueros rumores y la oficialización tanto de ventas como de fichajes hará que el Chelsea consiga un ansiado balance como equipo y es que para este club es obligatorio contar con una idea de juego y con jugadores que pongan en práctica esa idea para después recuperar las posiciones perdidas por malas decisiones.
