Hello to all of you, today I am preparing a post about Turkish football teams in the Turkish community again. Since the subject of this post is Turkish football teams, I thought it would be more appropriate to share it here. Football is changing every day, different tactics are constantly being developed and different formations are becoming popular. The coaches change their formations many times in the game and the players at the best level can adapt to it. The only thing that hasn't changed is that Turkish teams are unprepared for Europa League qualifiers.

For as long as I can remember, Turkish teams have been playing badly in European qualifiers. I watched Galatasaray and Besiktas last week and I will mostly comment on those teams. Fenerbahce won their game in a different way but I will say a few things about that too.

First of all, I know that Turkish teams are unprepared because they play these games before the national league starts, but I don't think that's an acceptable excuse. Because the budgets of our teams are 100 times the budgets of their opponents. Under normal circumstances, Galatasaray's U18 team should be able to beat the opponent, but in football, matches are won on the pitch and I think that's why it's so popular. Let's analyze the Galatasaray match in depth.

From the moment the game started, it was obvious that Galatasaray were not physically ready. This was something I expected, but what surprised me was that the individual performances of the players were also at a very low level. Tactically, I don't think the players were ready for this game either. Galatasaray rarely managed to develop organized attacks and the players didn't make much effort to do so. One of the reasons for this was the artificial turf. That's what the technical team said. Unfortunately, the attacks were not successful and the game was never unlocked.

When you play against a weaker team, you know that as long as you don't score goals, your opponent's resistance increases. So they believe that they are not going to lose and they start playing better. As Galatasaray didn't play well, the opposition started to play with more resistance. The opponent is Žalgiris Vilnius, who finished as champions of the Lithuanian league last year and are currently 2nd in the league. Their squad value is only 8 million Euros. Galatasaray, on the other hand, has only one player worth 27 million euros. Okay, as I said above, the games are won on the court, but you expect to win when there is that much difference, right? Unfortunately, the history of Turkish football is full of such disappointments. If the Zalgiris players were a bit more talented, this match could have been a heavy defeat. When the first half ended in a 0 - 0 draw, I knew that this match was not going to end the way we wanted it to. At the beginning of the second half, a good attack by Galatasaray ended due to the incompetence of the forward players and turned into a counter attack. After a big individual mistake by Nelsson, Oyewusi faced the goalkeeper and managed to score. After that, the opponent, who was already playing defensively, started to defend with 11 men and it became very boring. Galatasaray managed to take the lead with substitutions but couldn't maintain their lead. This again came from Dubois, who is considered to be very reliable. In the end, Galatasaray played below expectations and deserved to lose. Nevertheless, it is very lucky to have drawn. I expect a very different game and a different win in the rematch in Turkey, because the squad that has been assembled makes me dream of much more.

When I watched the Besiktas game I saw the same thing, again there were players who were not physically ready and in addition to that Besiktas needs a lot of transfers in their squad. There was a right back playing on the right flank and even though he scored a goal, he didn't play as effectively as expected in the game. Again, as in the Galatasaray game, there was no early goal and we watched a boring game for 20 minutes. The first goal came from Beşiktaş in the 21st minute and the game became a bit more entertaining as the opposition started to play more offensively. Beşiktaş won the match 3-1 and gained an important advantage.

On the other side Fenerbahce managed to beat their opponent 5-0, which I think was expected from all our teams. Here, the goal that unlocked the match came very early and then Fenerbahce played with discipline and increased the difference, which determined the fate of the first half and therefore the game. I didn't watch much of this game so I won't comment more on it.

These are my thoughts on last week's Europa League qualifiers. Adana Demirspor was also one of the teams that played last week, but since I didn't watch that game, I chose not to comment on it. Ben kendimi bildim bileli Türk takımları Avrupa ligleri ön eleme maçlarını oynarken kötü oynuyor. Geçen hafta Galatasaray ve Beşiktaş'ın maçlarını izledim ve çoğunlukla bu takımlar üzerine yorum yapacağım. Fenerbahçe maçını farklı bir şekilde kazandı ama ona dair de birkaç şey söyleyeceğim.

Öncelikle biliyorum Türk takımları ulusal lig başlamadan önce bu maçları oynadığı için hazırlıksız oluyor ama bu kabul edilebilir bir bahane gibi gelmiyor bana. Çünkü bizim takımlarımızın bütçeleri rakiplerinin bütçelerinin 100 katı kadar. Normal şartlar altında Galatasaray'ın U18 takımı rakibi yenebilmeli ama futbolda maçlar sahada kazanılıyor ve sanırım bu kadar sevilmesinin sebebi de bu. Maç başladığı andan itibaren Galatasaray takımının fizik olarak hazır olmadığı çok belliydi. Bu zaten beklediğim bir şeydi ama şaşırdığım şey oyuncuların bireysel olarak da performanslarının çok düşük seviyede olduğuydu. Taktik olarak da oyuncuların bu maça çok hazır olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Galatasaray çok nadiren organize ataklar geliştirmeyi başardı ve oyuncular çok da bunun için çabalamadı. Bunun sebeplerinden biri de zeminin suni çimden olmasıymış. Teknik ekibin açıklamaları bu yöndeydi. Geliştirilen ataklar da maalesef başarıyla sonuçlandırılamadığı için bir türlü maçın kilidi açılmadı.

Sizden zayıf bir takıma karşı oynuyorsanız bilirsiniz ki siz gol atamadığınız sürece rakibinizin direnci artar. Yani onlar da kaybetmeyeceklerine inanırlar ve daha iyi oynamaya başlarlar. Galatasaray da iyi oynayamadıkça rakip takım daha dirençli oynamaya başladı. Bu ara rakip takım Žalgiris Vilnius Litvanya ligini geçen yıl şampiyon olarak bitiren takım ve şu anda ligde 2. sıradalar. Kadro değerleri ise sadece 8 milyon Euro. Galatasaray'ın ise sadece bir oyuncusunun değeri 27 milyon euro. Tamam, yukarıda söylediğim gibi maçlar sahada kazanılıyor ama arada bu kadar fark varken de kazanmayı beklersiniz değil mi? Ne yazık ki Türk futbol tarihinin geçmişi bu tarz hayal kırıklıklarıyla dolu. Eğer Zalgiris takımının oyuncuları biraz daha yetenekli olsaydı bu maç da ağır bir hezimet olabilirdi. Maçın ilk yarısı 0 -0 berabere bittiğinde bu maçın istediğimiz gibi bitmeyeceğini anlamıştım. İkinci yarının başında Galatasaray'ın iyi bir atağı ilerideki oyuncuların beceriksizliği yüzünden sona erdi ve bir kontra atağa dönüştü. Nelsson'un büyük bireysel hatası sonrası Oyewusi kaleciyle karşı karşıya kaldı ve golü atmayı başardı. Ondan sonrasında zaten defansif oynayan rakip takım 11 kişi savunma yapmaya başladı ve çok sıkıcı bir hal aldı. Galatasaray oyuncu değişiklikleriyle öne geçmeyi başardı ama üstünlüğünü koruyamadı. Bu da yine çok güvenilir olduğu düşünülen Dubois'ten geldi. Sonuç olarak Galatasaray beklenenin çok altında oynadı ve kaybetmeyi hak etti. Buna rağmen berabere kaldığı için çok şanslı. Türkiye'deki rövanş maçında çok daha farklı bir oyun ve farklı bir galibiyet bekliyorum. Çünkü kurulan kadro çok daha fazlasını hayal ettiriyor.

Beşiktaş maçını izlediğimde yine aynı şeyi gördüm. Yine fizik olarak hazır olmayan oyuncular vardı ve buna ek olarak Beşiktaş'ın kadrosunda pek çok transfere ihtiyaç var. Sağ kanatta bir sağ bek oyuncusu oynuyordu ve o oyuncu bir gol bile atmış olsa sonuçta maç içinde beklendiği kadar etkili oynayamadı. Yine Galatasaray maçında olduğu gibi erken bir gol atılamadı ve 20 dakika boyunca sıkıcı bir maç izledik. İlk gol 21. dakikada Beşiktaş'tan geldi ve rakip takımın da daha ofansif oynamaya başlamasıyla maç biraz daha eğlenceli oldu. Maçı 3-1 Beşiktaş kazandı ve önemli bir avantaj elde etti.

Diğer tarafta Fenerbahçe rakibini 5-0 yenmeyi başardı ki bence bu bütün takımlarımızdan beklenen skordu. Burada maçın kilidini açan golün çok erken gelmesi ve devamında da Fenerbahçe'nin disiplinli oynayarak farkı artırması ilk yarının ve dolayısıyla oyunun kaderini belirledi. Bu maçı çok izlemediğim için hakkında daha fazla yorum yapmayacağım.

Bunlar benim geçen hafta oynanan Avrupa ligi ön elemeleri ile ilgili düşüncelerim. Adana Demirspor da geçen hafta maç yapan takımlardan biri olmasına rağmen o maçı hiç izleyemediğim için yorum yapmamayı tercih ettim.
