What is Navjot? Since it was for your cousin's son, I'm guessing it's not midwinter or new year. Tell us more, please!
@treefrognada,
The Navjote ceremony is the ritual through which an individual is inducted into the Zoroastrian religion.
It's nothing to do with weaather or new year.
I am a zoroastrian / Parsee and Zoroastrianism is the religion. If you want to know more, i suggest you google on the net.
Thanks!
