REVEALED: Manchester United eye world-class centre back
According to reports in England, Manchester United are looking out for quality center back options. This came to the limelight after some teammates began to question Maguire's place in the team.
Hence, it is understood that the board believe Manchester United only have two center backs who are above average. Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane.
Other centre backs in the team are Harry Maguire and Eric Baily. However, their days may now be numbered.
United players air their views:
In the Manchester United training on Thursday, some players in the Red Devil side were left pissed by Harry Maguire's performance. They held talks with Ragnick over Harry Maguire's place in the team.
That being said, it is understood the board at the club, would be making it a priority to get quality center backs come next summer.
Center-backs up for grabs:
There are a good number of quality center back introduction Manchester United can make in the summer.
Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger and Dortmund's Akanji are but a few options who could provide lots of quality. However, they would not exit their teams for cheap fees as well.
Summary:
That being said, if Manchester United desire to find a quality replacement for Harry Maguire, they have got to do so with the preparedness of breaking the bank.
This isn't the first time this season that reports have surfaced about Maguire's position in the squad.
And last October, it was reported that disagreements occurred during a team meeting after their 4-2 loss to Leicester, with one questioning the choice of Maguire as captain.
Really, it's becoming too much.
I also read United are going far Araujo Barcelona Centre back, but I don't think he will be leaving anytime soon.
Yh, it's still a rumour for now
