ACTIFIT MINIBLOG/ ACTIFIT REPORT CARD: MAY 10, 2024.

AMAZING FRIDAY NIGHT
Hey guys, arent we all glad that it's finally friday? Well, I'm really happy about it though. You see this morning I did not attend school because something went wrong my self that I didn't understand. Or I did understand but still found it confusing... this morning I woke up with a heavy headache and tight lungs, it was really hard to breath.😣 I know one of the reasons why it happen was because o the renovations thats been going on in my boarding house, the strong smell of paint and the accumulated dust in my room have stacked quite a bit.😒 (I got transfered to a different room while they were renovating my room and I had to clean my room once it was done.😅) I cleaned it last night, and this happen to me this morning... even just walking a few step gets me out of breath.😭 But thank God I felt better after drinking a ot of water the whole day that I was confident now to go to the gym.💪😁
EVENING WORKOUT: BICEPS AND TRICEPS
This evening is Friday April 12, 2024, my muscle group focus is the triceps and the biceps. Although my feet are still aching from my leg workout last wednesday, I cannt skip my workout and continue to get those gains! So for tonight I did 2 tricep exercises and 2 bicep exercises.
TRICEP EXERCISE
I only have 2 tricep exercises, namely tricep cable push downs using a rope and cable tricep extensions. The first was tricep cable pushdowns. In this exercise I did a drop set, one set contains 25 reps in total: 5 reps for 100 lbs, 8 reps for 70 lbs and 12 reps for 50 lb weights. I did all this reps for a total of 5 sets.
The next is tricep cable extensions. In this exercise I also did a drop set, but this time one set contains 36 reps in total: 12 reps for 100 lbs, 12 reps for 70 lbs and 12 reps for 50 lb weights. The burning sensation in my triceps was legit!💥😀
BICEP EXERCISE
For the two biceps exercises, namely preacher curls and hammer curls, I did the reacher curls first. In the preacher curls I used a 3x12 method, in this method you do 3 sets for that certai exercise while doing 12 reps in each set. In my case I did preacher curls using 30 lb weight.
And the last but not the least workout of the evening, my favorite exercise hammer curls. I do is specially as a finisher for an arm workout ( or tricep and bicep workout). It just give this different kind of lingering pump on your arm. I did 5 sets of alternating dumbell hammer curls and doing 8-10 reps for each set. The workout tonight was simple yet still amazing, it gave me some serious pump and hopefully some serious gains too!
HAVING DINNER AT THE NIGHT MARKET
So after my workout was already really hungry, given that it was already 9 in the evening, I decided to eat out because its already too late in the night to cook for dinner. So I went on my way to the night market.
So this is what I have ordered for my dinner. I got 3 servings of puso, which is rich cook inside a weaved coconut leaves, some pinoy-style pork barbecue, and this tinolang manok bisaya (its a sort of chicken soup using the native chickens here in our place).
After a great workout, this type of meal would really replenish the energy that I used. Not that its rich in macro nutrients but its also taste so good!!😻💯 My tummy approved, it hit the spot!😋😁
So that is all for today's entry on my ACTIFIT MINIBLOG/ Actifit Report card for May 10, 2024. Tonight was really something, I really enjoyed some alone time with myself. Even though I was eating along, it really didn't feel lonely. All in all a great workout and an even greater post workout meal!❤️💯
