ATTENDING CAMPAIN ON ALTERNATIVE FUELS AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY

Today was a wonderful day! I was given the opportunity to be present in one of the campains of the DOE or Department of Energy regarding alternative fuels and emerging technologies.The Department of Energy (DOE) of the Philippines is primarily recognized for managing the country's energy sector, which involves crafting and executing energy policies, programs, and regulations.

As an engineering student, specially in electrical engineering field, this is a great chance for me to enchance my knowledge and develop new sets of perspective regarding energy management and utilization. I do have a specific interests in renewable energy and energy utilization because of its given benefits, specially to us consumers and the great benifit it provides to the environment.

The seminar went well, I have learned a lot from the speakers the displayed great expertise assigned offices and roles in the department. Just being in that seminar encouraged me more to persue me career as an electrical engineer focusing on renewable energy and energy utilization. I am very greatful to the speakers who are very passionate in there roles, the experience was amazing.

EVENING WORKOUT: BACK AND BICEPS

It certainly is good to be back on the gym after a long period of time. I just went to a phase were I didnt want to go to the gym anymore and was just tired. I lost quite a ot of muscle mass, and Im regretful about. But its already done and theres nothing I could do anymore but to push forward from here. Hello again guys, and wellcome to my evening workout!

BARBELL ROWS USING THE SMITH MACHINE

For the first worout I did barbell rows using the smith machine, I did a total of five sets while playing with the amount of weight I put depending on the set. This time I did 30 kg in the first set, 60 kg in the second set, then 50kg in the 3rd set, then went back to 70 kg in the 4th set and finally back 30kg in the last set. For me, I think the barbell rows hits more on the middles back and the traps depending on the angle your body is position.

WIDE-GRIP CABLE PULL-DOWNS

For the wide grip cable pull-downs, I did a total of 5 sets doing 8-12 reps in each set. As for the weight , I used 100 lbs weight, I need to down a bit on the weight since its been a while and I know that it will sore bad. This exercise targets more on my lats.

CLOSE-GRIP CABLE PULL-DOWNS

For the close grip cable pull-downs, I did a total of 5 sets doing 8-12 reps in each set. As for the weight , I used 80 lbs weight, I used lighter on the weight becuase my lats and it will also get targeted be the exercise whilee trying to hit the inner back. This

Single-hand cable pulldowns (for biceps)

I saw this workout on the internet and decided to try them out to see if it really target the biceps well. For the weight I only used 60 lbs to not put too much strain on my biceps.

Lat-cable pulldowns (using rope)

This is my finisher back workout. This workout focusses on the lats, I used 50 lbs of weoght and a total of five sets with 8 reps in each set.

Standing cable-curls for the biceps

For the last workout this evening, I did standing cable curls using 50 lb weight and did 8 reps for 5 sets. This really give serious pumps on the biceps.
