BUILDING MY DEMON BACK: BACK & BICEP DAY

Hello everyone, by any chance did you miss my actifit blogs? Well I have been on pause with my blog for the past weeks... I think my last workout blog was 14 days ago. I have been quite busy with life and did not have the proper time to make a quality blog so I did not want to post half baked once so I rahter skipped blogging for 2 weeks. Last night I did a bakc and bicep workout with more focus on the back. I have always admire the physic of Yujiro Hanma and Baki Hanma because it really stands out... its my dream physic to be short. So for last night I did 5 back exercises and 2 bicep exercises.

BACK WORKOUT

So last night I did four back workouts, namely, barbell rows, wide grip cable pull-down, rope lats cable pulldowns, shrugs and deadlift. Starting with the barbell rows, I used the smith machine I can load more weight in the barbell without worrying about tipping out of balance while maintaing proper form. In this workout I did a total of 5 sets. In the first set and as a warm up, I used 40 kg weight for 12 reps. In the second, third and forth set, I used 60 kg and did 8 reps each. And in my final set I droped back to 40 kg for 12 reps.

The next workout that I did was wide grip cable pull-downs. In this exercise I did 5 sets total doing 10-12 reps in each set. In the first set I used 80 lbs as a warm up , followed by 100 lbs in the seconds set, then I proceeded with 120lbs in the third and forth set and finally in my last set I used 140 l40lbs for 8-10 reps.

After that workout, I proceeded with rope lats cable pulldowns. In this workout I only used 50 lb weight in all the sets because I can no longer lift any more of the weight properly. So using the 50 lbs weight I did a total of 4 lats agonizing sets.

After doing the rope lats cable pull-downs, I proceeded with shurgs using the barbell. In this workout I only used a total of 60 kg weight for three sets and doing it for 8-12 reps per set. My face at in that picture really need to get covered because I really cant post it without covering HAHAHAH. When your lifting considerable amount of weight your facing expression becomes your least priority.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

And lasty, in the final back workout I did 3 sets of deadlifts. For the entire workout I only used a total of 100 kg weight (including bar weight) and I aimed to atleast do 8-10 reps in each set.

BICEP WORKOUT

And in the final parts of my workout last night, I did 2 bicep exercises, namely, alternating hammer curls and alternating dumbell curls. Starting with the hammer curls I did 5 sets total. IN the first set I used 25 lbs dumbells and did 12 reps, then in my second, third and forth set I used 35 lbs dumbells,and in the fifth and last set I used the 25 lbs dumbells again but doing it to failure.

Finally the last workout, alternating bicep curls. In this workout I just used the 25 lb dumbels because my arms at this moment has no more strength lo lift anymore than that weight.. So I did 3 sets of alternating dumbell curls, doing 8-12 reps in each set.

I deffinitely need some more muscle mass... but progress it still progressβ€οΈπŸ’―

So that is all for today's entry on my ACTIFIT MINIBLOG/ Actifit Report card for May 23, 2024. Last night was a blast, I really got that sick pump in my back and forearms. All in all it was really great workout and a very blissful nightβ€οΈπŸ’―
