Uefa Champions League Highlight
The finals leg of the Uefa Champions League took off on Tuesday night, some team's victory was assured after the first leg, while some had 50-50 chances. The game that surprised me was between Chelsea Vs Borussia Dortmund which took place on Tuesday night, Chelsea has been struggling in the EPL lately and their performance in the first leg against Dortmund was a disaster, although Dortmund did not have a wide lead gap they surely dominated the game.
The second-leg result was a surprise for me because I felt Dortmund had the game covered and would surely qualify for the next round but the Blues had plans of their own. Chelsea beat the German club 2-0 at home with Sterling and Kai Havertz scoring a goal each, the Blues are through to the quarterfinals and I am 100% sure this win will put the Chelsea board at ease and give Potter more time as he rebuilds the team.
Benfica showed no mercy as they annihilated Club Brugge 6-1 at home. Rafa Silva scored a goal, Goncalo Ramos scored a brace and gave an assist, Joao Mario scored a goal and David Neres got a goal for Benfica, while Bjorn Meijer scored the only goal for Club Brugge. Scott Parker( Club Brugge manager) was sacked after the match, Parker had been sacked twice in the space of a year.
Wednesday night was the main event of the Uefa Champions League this week and the game that took over the headlines was Bayern Munich Vs PSG. The first leg ended in Bayern's favor as they won by a goal in PSG's home stadium, I gave my analysis of the game and explain how PSG's defense is a total sham and how they need to do more if they want to beat Bayern in the second leg, but it turned out much worse last night as PSG got knocked out of the UCL last night.
Bayern Munich won 2-0 bringing the total scoreline on aggregate to 3-0, PSG are once again knocked out of the round of sixteen and I am getting tired of the team, this team had a lot of hype about how they will be unstoppable and would be feared by the opposition but they are just a bunch of jokes. Mbappe and Messi should just find their way out of the club as soon as possible, especially Mbappe if he wants to win the UCL someday. My expectations for PSG went down the drain and I don't see them as that elite team anymore.
AC Milan played a goalless draw with Tottenham away from home, the defending Serie A champions won by a goal in the first leg and that lead secured their place in the quarter-finals. Tottenham had their chance but could not make much of it, we might see them in the UCL next year if they managed to finish in the top four this season in the EPL.
So guys that will be all for now, thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.
Bayern is a superior team because of how well each player knows others positions in the field, PSG is just a few stars that havent learn to play together besides Messi could be said that he is at what is called an athlete cycle peak, athletes after a certain time hit a wall for some its psychological others is physical usually this happens after a big competition like Olympics, world championship or grand prix, I think he can still play at a competitive level but not right now
I agree with you, I love Messi but I think he is not giving PSG is all like how he did with Argentina in the world cup.
