The long wait will soon be finally over when Manchester City takes on Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Istanbul tonight. The match is trending on Twitter, every football fan can’t wait to see the match start, and I also can’t wait for it to begin. Manchester City has a chance to make history to be the second club in the EPL to win three trophies in one campaign season.
Manchester City will win today's match. I am 100% sure without any doubt. The boys in blue came a long way to reach the final stage of the UCL final. They beat German champions Bayern Munich, and 14 times champions league winners Real Madrid in the competition. City has shown they want the title this year more than anything, and tonight their dreams will come through.
Inter Milan is an incredible team, and to be frank no one expected them to reach the final this year. Inter Milan has a history when it comes to winning the UCL. They have won the title three times in their history. The last time Inter Milan won the UCL was in 2010 which was a successful season for the Nerazzurri side. They won three trophies that season, Serie A, UCL, and Coppa Italia. The Nerazzurri achieved this feat because of the special one(Jose Mourinho) at their side.
Manchester City will have to watch their backs because any slip of could cost them the title. Pep Guardiola has already said his side will not underestimate their opponent and will bring on their A-game when they meet on the pitch. I trust Pep has done his calculations, all it's left is for the team to execute his plans, and get the job done quickly. If City doesn't win tonight's match, then they should not expect to have this chance again next season.
