Pulisic Hattrick Against Panama In the 2022 World Cup Qualifier

The USA International Men's team dominated the pitch this morning against Panama in the world cup qualification match. Canada is currently at the top of the table in CONCACAF and is leading USA and Mexico by three points.

Panama gave away a penalty in the 17th minute of the first half. Chelsea star player Pulisic and also the captain of the USA men's team was standing over the ball to take the penalty. The referee blew his whistle and Pulisic made no mistake as he sent the goalkeeper diving on the wrong side and played the ball into the goalpost.

It didn't take long before the USA team scored another goal. Antonee Robinson sides the ball into the box finding his teammate Paul Arriola who heads the ball to the goalpost leaving the goalkeeper stunned, the US was already leading by two goals in just 23 minutes played in the first half.

USA kept the intensity and pressure against Panama. Within the space of 4 minutes after their second goal, the US found the goalposts again and extended their lead. Paul Arriola, who scored the second goal for the US, laid out a pass to his teammate Ferreria. The US international player's first touch was on goal as he played the ball into the goalpost immediately he received the ball.

Panama yet again gave out another penalty just before halftime. Pulisic was again standing over the ball ready to take the shot. This time the goalkeeper followed the ball but still couldn't keep it out of the goalposts. Pulisic grabbed his second goal of the match and further extended the lead to four goals. Panama suffered a blow in the first 45 minutes. They played badly and had poor finishing.

Panama showed their fighting spirit in the second half. They held the ball more and made several attempts to score but the goal was not coming. The US found the goalpost again, this time Pulisic dribbled his way into the box, he even nutmegged a defender and placed the ball into the low corner of the goalpost and got his third goal of the match.

Panama got their consolation goal in the 86th minute from a set-piece ball played by Eric Davis. Anibal Godoy who cost his team two penalties and headed the ball into the goalpost. The match ended and Panama's hopes of qualifying for the world cup came to an end. USA and Mexico are still not clear yet. Costa Rica still has hope of qualifying for the world cup. They have to beat USA and score up to four goals and hope Mexico loses their match at hand.
