Why is Luca Zidane not heading to Real Madrid?
Zinedine Zidane is the award winning coach of Real Madrid, a former player and now coach of one of the greatest clubs in the world has a son who is a footballer.
Luca Zidane is the son of the Real Madrid coach and he is a goalkeeper who recently got signed on to newly-promoted Segunda side, Racing Santander on a season-long loan.
I guess many didn't know because Luca is a goalkeeper because he isn't been heard and some wonder why he is not plying his trade with his father's club which is supposed to give him a head start.
Real Madrid is with two very good goalkeepers in the persons of Thibaut Courtois the first choice and Keylor Navas.
My View.
I believe the 21 year old is doing well in his own right because, many would prefer he plays under his father's shadow which should help him do well.
In the game of football, there must be a time when we get to hear of a particular player doing well and we wonder where they came from.
Will he someday get to ply his trade for the big clubs like his father did?
Would Real Madrid have preferred him if he was a player like his father?
What would the story had been had, Luca Zidane been a player like his father and not a goalkeeper?
What does the move to Racing Santander mean for his young career?
The goalkeeping position does not give the goalkeeper options to play at different positions, display his strength and speed or dribbling abilities so it's a mono position.
For his move to Racing Santander I think it's a right choice as far as he is going to have regular start up.
I believe the father gave him full support to stand between the posts instead of ruling the midfield right from that teenage age, so he is a great goalkeeper and he will be on the headlines soon.
You have a point here and the fact that he is doing his thing (goalkeeping) as against what the world would want to see him do (playing), he sure has more ahead.
Well writting bro nice review.
