Do you think racing is the only sport that is done by car? Think again!

Racing is indeed an inseparable part of the history of the car, but it is not the only sport involving cars. There was auto polo.

As the name implies, auto polo is polo but uses cars, instead of horses. With the invention of the car, there was a new variation of polo, namely auto polo.

Auto polo is both risky and expensive. Crashed cars often have to be replaced. And when the economy became more and more difficult during the Great Depression, auto polo lost its prominence.

This sport was short-lived, only lasted about 20 years. Had bounced back when the economy improved after the second world war, but it did not last long. It was outshined by racing which is the arena of competition for the prestige of car manufacturers.
