The joy of being in control of your health: My Actifit Report Card: September 14 2022

Hi Folks,
Today I tried to go extreme a little bit but not run up the slope to allow activation of different muscle compared to yesterday. Admittedly, I seem to have strong legs and I prefer jogging up hill than downhill or flat terrain.

Where do I get motivation?

There are days I don't really feel like pushing myself but I always check the Actifit leading board to get some motivation. During the week, I realised that the highest step count is always around 70K. That's really outstanding and it's also refreshing and motivating to see all of you giving it your best shot.

Why bother?

Few steps a day can help to keep the doctor away and you will be in control of your cardiac health, can also slow down your metabolic age and build strong legs at least to still find them useful when pushing 80s. Imagine finding pleasure in walking off your calories and being in control of your health? Every step we take daily counts.
