Beware of stalemate! LOL! Checking the king is usually a good way to avoid stalemate, but here, it won't get you to checkmate in two as far as I can see... so instead, we need to force the king to move where he doesn't want to go... and the best way to do that is Bf1!:

1. Bf1! Kxf1
2. Qd1 #
