AC Milan get ready for Donnarumma farewell
Gianluigi Donnarumma may be past AC Milan this summer when his contract expires. The parties have not yet agreed on an extension, and thus it looks like an exit from the San Siro, where the goalkeeper made his debut as a 16-year-old.
That reality AC Milan should be aware of, and therefore they have begun to prepare for a future without the great Italian between the bars. According to the media Sport1, the Milan team should already have a replacement ready for the summer. This was supposed to be the French national team goalkeeper from Lille, Mike Maignan, who was also on the block at Dortmund.
Donnarumma made his debut for AC Milan in 2015, where he also became the youngest goalkeeper ever to make his debut in a professional league in Italy. Since then, there have been a total of 245 matches in Milan as well as 25 international matches for the mere 22-year-old goalkeeper. According to Sport1, Juventus should be the favorites to secure the goalkeeper next season.
