Hoy los traje conmigo a mi sitio favorito; se trata del estadio de béisbol Antonio Herrera Gutiérrez de Barquisimeto, y es que los venezolanos tenemos una pasión particular por este deporte así que hoy les competiré toda la experiencia del juego.
Today I brought you with me to my favourite place; it is the Antonio Herrera Gutiérrez baseball stadium in Barquisimeto, and we Venezuelans have a particular passion for this sport, so today I will share with you the whole experience of the game.

La verdad es que yo quería ir al juego de béisbol la semana pasada, específicamente el jueves 22 de diciembre pero cuando llegue a buscar a mi amiga ella me comento que el juego no la animaba, entonces decidimos ir a dar una vuelta al pueblo de Santa Rosa y después ir a comernos una rica hamburguesa. Sin embargo yo quede como decimos aquí “picada” es decir, con las ganas intactas de ir al juego; es por ello, que le dije a dos de mis amigas que son fanáticas del béisbol como yo que fuéramos, pero ellas me encargaron a mí que comprara las entradas.
The truth is that I wanted to go to the baseball game last week, specifically on Thursday 22nd December, but when I arrived to pick up my friend she told me that she was not looking forward to the game, so we decided to go for a walk to the town of Santa Rosa and then go and eat a delicious hamburger. However, I was, as we say here, "picada" that is to say, with the desire to go to the game intact; that is why I told two of my friends who are baseball fans like me that we should go, but they asked me to buy the tickets.

Como ya en este momento de la temporada la fanaticada se vuelve más intensa, yo me fui el día lunes 26 de diciembre temprano para comprar las entradas, pero la verdad es que no había la cantidad de gente que yo me imagine. Ya con entradas en mano, el duelo seria Cardenales de Lara el equipo de mi estado contra los Navegantes del Magallanes, el cual es un equipo que también posee una gran fanaticada y es considerado como fuerte, es decir, muy bueno lo que hace que sea más emocionante. El juego comenzaba a las 7:00 pm y nosotras llegamos a las 6:30 pm pues a mí no me gusta perderme ningún momento, hicimos algo de fila para entrar y nos ubicamos en nuestra silla correspondiente para esperar que el juego comenzara.

With tickets in hand, the game would be Cardenales de Lara, the team from my state, against Navegantes del Magallanes, which is a team that also has a great fan base and is considered to be strong, that is, very good, which makes it more exciting. The game started at 7:00 pm and we arrived at 6:30 pm as I don't like to miss a moment, we queued up a bit to get in and took our seats to wait for the game to begin.
Al fin sonó la voz de Play Ball y con eso ambos equipos salen al terreno de juego, además que comienza la animación de un icono para nosotros los larenses el señor Gregorio Valles, quien desde que tengo uso de razón es el encargado de narrar y animar el juego, siempre dándole porras a nuestros Cardenales de Lara. Es importante recalcar que la personalidad del venezolano es muy efusiva, chichaquera, espontanea y en este tipo de escenarios salen todas esas características en mayor escala; obviamente es un estadio lleno de cardenaleros donde no podemos perder la oportunidad de aplicárselas a los pocos magallaneros que nos encontramos. El juego comenzó su secuencia, como en la mayoría de los casos el primer inning transcurrió sin ninguna jugada importante, se llega al segundo con un pizarra de 0 a 0, pero lo mejor ocurriría en el momento cuando el jugador Juniel Querecuto la sacara de cuadrangular trayendo para el home tres carreras y entonces pondría el marcador a 3 a 0 a favor del equipo crepuscular, pero esto no termina allí, porque luego Ildemaro Vargas batearía un hit para poner a los cardenales 4 a 0.

Pero obviamente los Navegantes del Magallanes no se quedarían con esa y en el 4to inning el jugador Renato Nuñez batearía un cuadrangular, allí mismo en ese inning el equipo azul colocarían el partido 4 a 3. No obstante, en 5to inning cardenales logro anotar otra carrera para una diferencia de 5 a 3; pero en la 6ta entrada los Navegantes del Magallanes lograron empatar el juego 5 a 5. El juego cada vez más emocionante se tuvo que ir a extainning, lo que nos mantenía con mucho suspenso y entonces ocurrió algo cheverisimo cardenales tenia las bases llenas y al tuno estaba el hermoso Rangel Ravelo cuando el pitcher lo golpeo y de esta manera entro la carrera de la victoria y de esta forma se retrasa la clasificación del equipo magallanero.
But obviously the Navegantes del Magallanes would not stay with that and in the 4th inning the player Renato Nuñez would hit a home run, right there in that inning the blue team would place the game 4 to 3. However, in the 5th inning Cardenales managed to score another run for a difference of 5 to 3; but in the 6th inning the Navegantes del Magallanes managed to tie the game 5 to 5. Lo mas divertido de todo el partido es ver a una de mis amigas pelear con los fanáticos del Magallanes, salimos afónicas de allí y con mucha hambre, así que para celebrar el triunfo de nuestro equipo y el hecho de no perder el dinero de las entradas nos fuimos a comer unos pepitos a un famoso establecimiento de comida rápida llamada Tatos. De verdad, que no pueden imaginar lo mucho que disfrute el partido, lo que grite, reí y padecí, pero lo cierto es que todos debemos regalarnos un momento de distracción y esparcimiento en estos momentos tan acelerados que vivimos, sinceramente yo en ese partido siento que le agregue muchos años de vida a mi corazón.
The funniest part of the whole game was seeing one of my friends fighting with the Magallanes fans, we came out of there with no sound and very hungry, so to celebrate the victory of our team and the fact that we didn't lose the money for the tickets we went to eat some pepitos at a famous fast food establishment called Tatos. Really, you can't imagine how much I enjoyed the game, how much I shouted, laughed and suffered, but the truth is that we should all give ourselves a moment of distraction and relaxation in these accelerated times we live in, sincerely I feel that in that game I added many years of life to my heart.
