God sacrifice his only begotten son to express his love for mankind. The expression of love is the practical aspect of love which must be demonstrated.

Love is a profound and caring affection towards someone. It's an affectionate, benevolent concern or care for other people or beings, and for their well-being.

Also, love can be seen as a feeling of intense attraction towards someone. Above all, love is sharing. Learn to share with friends, family and neighbors.
