We have another episode in one of the most iconic rivalries of the last few years. On April 25th Pep and Mou are going to meet again in EFL Cup Final.

Tottenham won against Championship side Brentford with goals from Sissoko and Heung-Min Son while Manchester City defeated his city rivals Manchester United thanks to Stones and Fernandinho goals.

Tottenham Hotspur will fight for his major trophy since 2008 (that was in fact a League Cup), and on the other hand City are looking for his fourth consecutive League Cup under Guardiola in his fifth season.

This will be a final played by two of the most successful League Cup Managers: Mourinho has a League Cup for every team he managed in England (this season he managed his first League Cup for Tottenham, as last season they were knocked out by Colchester United when Pochettino was still the manager).

José Mourinho has four League Cups to his name, three with Chelsea and one with Manchester United.

Pep on the other hand, has won three League Cups in a row, and in the one he didn't win he was knocked out by the eventual champions: Manchester United, the year Mourinho won the EFL Cup with them.

Although they haven't meet again in the League Cup, the only team that stopped Pep of winning a League Cup was a team managed by Mourinho. Now, they'll meet again on the final.

Overall, Pep has a better record against Mourinho winning 11 times (including a penalty shootout on the European Supercup 2013, ended 2-2 on ET), Mou won 7 times against Pep teams but he hasn't lost against him managing Spurs, winning the only two times they have played. And finally, they have tied 4 times.

They will meet before the League Cup final on February 13th in the Etihad.

What do you think will happen in the final? I don't know what to expect. City doesn't look as weak as they did when they lost against Spurs in october. But Spurs, even with the bad results they had before his match against Leeds, know how to play against this Manchester City team.

Season is long and Premier League this season is so crazy, so from today (January 8th) to April 25th anything could happen.
