A Busy Saturday Evening Shift at Work | Alive and Thriving on Nov 09, 2024 | Actifit report number 1220

Hey, there! How are you? I hope that you are doing great. Welcome to my post. It's actifit report number 1220. It's also the Alive and Thriving report on Saturday, Nov 9, 2024.

I had a busy evening shift duty on Saturday. I was the single GP doctor on duty. Hence, I had to cover the full evening shift alone. I consulted 35 patients during that shift. Except for the first hour, there was continued patient flow all the time. In the morning shift, I consulted 20 patients. Hence, altogether, I consulted 55 patients on Saturday.

Saturday morning, my duty was to begin at 10:30 am, instead of 8 am. Hence, I had plenty of time to get a second round of sleep. I work up after 8:30 am only. In the afternoon, in between two shifts, I had a short afternoon nap too.

It's the picture of Friday afternoon. My son captured it. Whenever I capture some photos, he insists on capturing some photos, too!

My sister works in a convenience store and does not like it when not many people come in to buy things, she says she would rather have it busy. She says time goes by faster when she is busy. Do you feel this way when you are busy or would you rather not have many people come in?

You should let your Son take more pictures, he captured the sun setting over the hills beautifully, and he has an eye for taking great photos. If you have an old phone that can still take photos, it would be a way for him to take his own photos or an old digital camera for him to use.

It is good that you have ways to pass the time when not busy.

I like to always encourage children when they show an interest in something like taking pictures. Blurry photos are easily deleted, it is not like in the old days when we had film.

Thank you for sharing your busy day and lovely photos. It's good your son is learning to take photos. My daughter started the same way when she was younger. She takes lots of beautiful photos now esp. when she goes on her adventures. Have more productive work days, Doc!

You must have been exhausted after seeing so many patients.
It's good that you were able to get some extra sleep in the morning and a nap in the afternoon to recharge.
