Assalamu Alaikum. How are you? Hopefully, you are having good health. I am having good health, Alhamdulillah. Here are my activities on the 4th of September 2022. It was Sunday. It is my Actifit report number 812! In this post, I have included the following things:

Chamber updates

On Sunday, I consulted 24 patients in my chamber. There was no emergency case, Alhamdulillah. In the visa medical section, 43 people came for the check-up.

Physical activities

Regarding physical activities, still have a dull time. No walk on the treadmill. After finishing office work, we went to the Lulu and. The walk in the market helped me reach 9k plus steps.

Story of a patient who took a reverse path

Today one company patient visited me with his skin problem. He was having long-standing itchy skin. He already consulted a dermatologist and he even did an immune assay test (a special kind of test) for his allergic or itchy condition. He brought old reports with him. I saw the final diagnosis the dermatologist wrote was "chronic urticaria".

Usually, when we, the GP doctor fail to treat a patient, we send the patient to a consultant or specialist. In this case, the patient took a reverse path. After consulting a specialist, he came to a GP!! I checked the medications that were given to him before. I didn’t have anything new to offer other than an injection. So, I gave him one injection and adjusted a few oral tablets and local ointment.

A note: The patient had no option other than to come to me. Because his company now has contracted with our clinic. Previously, his company had a contract with a hospital where he consulted a dermatologist.
