The flooded forest, Actifit Report Card: January 7

So much water and lovely reflections in the forest of the Dutch nature reserve the Veluwe!

2023 was the wettest year in recorded history, and this is the result. This forest runs full of water more often, but this year is so wet. I have never seen more water in this forest than these couple of days. And now it is so beautiful.

It was very cold today, around freezing point, and the frost was everywhere.

Today was the last day of my so-called holiday, and tomorrow I am starting my new working year.
