My Actifit Report Card: March 13 2025
The golden light of the sunset gently touches the ancient stones of Brixia as I set off on my evening walk through the Roman-era Brescia. The air is warm, and the rustling leaves of the trees near the Capitolium accompany my steps along the decumanus.
I pass by the imposing columns of the Capitoline Temple, which still stand the test of time, witnesses to ancient rites and solemn celebrations dedicated to Jupiter, Juno, and Minerva. Moving forward, I let the silence of the Forum envelop me, imagining the murmur of merchants, the clinking of coins exchanged in the shops, and the solemn steps of magistrates.
I then descend towards the Roman Theatre, where the worn-down steps evoke the spectacle of Plautus' comedies and the cheers of the audience. I pause for a moment, as if I can still hear the chatter of
