I hate to say that I'm old enough to get that reference. I did have to google it, at first I thought it was to do with Wind in the Willows until I saw old hammy!

We had all sorts of weird shows back then, but there was not much viewing choice and so I would watch it all. It could have been influenced by Wind in the Willows.
