Another feline friend & locked out! 🐈‍⬛🏠🔑🤦🏻‍♀️😄: January 27 2022

Dear friend, 🙋🏻‍♀️

How was your Thursday? 🤔

It was another windy, rainy and cold day here. Around 5 am I took J&B down to the street for a little walk around the block. When we got back to the house we had a nasty surprise, the wind had closed the front door and the keys were inside! 😔

Luckily I had given a spare key to a friend to look after incase I ever needed it! Unfortunately it's horrible weather and 5 in the morning! Without another option, we started walking to my friends house, he has two flatmate's and a dog; so I was probably going to wake them all up! 🤦🏻‍♀️

When we got there I tried WhatsApping him, no reply. I tried WhatsApping one of his flatmate's, no reply. I called them no reply, so then I decided I'd just have to ring the doorbell! The dog barked, then silence. I rang again, the dog barked, then silence. So then I really buzzed it good! I must have woken the whole block! Fortunately my friend came to the window, I explained that I needed my key, he disappeared for a minute then threw it down to me. Bless him! 😇

A couple of hours later I had a doctors appointment across town, so at least with all the walking to and fro, I got a decent step count! 👣😉
