Indian Summer has arrived in Kansas. After a couple of mornings with a heavy frost on the grass, the weather is once again reaching highs in the 80s.

Brownie was really enjoying our morning walks in the chilly air. She raced around like she was a pup again. There was a definite bounce to her step, almost to the point where she pranced as she walked down the street.

But the return of warmer weather means the grass will keep growing for some time to come, so I got the lawn mower out and put it to work. I was hoping I might be about done with it for the year, but Mother Nature has other plans.

I think this late autumn is pretty good, neither hot or neither cool but gently weather, thus Brownie feel much better and like it.
