INTER MILAN VS LIVERPOOL
Wednesday night football was played, as Inter Milan hosted Liverpool in the famous San Siro stadium. The match was predicted to be exciting as Liverpool are known for having a unique style of attacking while Inter Milan are masters in defensive football. It was a battle against the two tactics involved in football. The first half was underway with both sides attempting to take the lead with efforts flying left and right from both sides, Inter Milan came quite close in the first half but was denied by the crossbar.
The first half ended as 0-0, while the second half was underway with Inter Milan staying determined to surprise the English Premier League side but that determination was cut short when Liverpool's front man Roberto Firmino scored with the Egyptian Mo Salah following up in the closing hour to make it 2-0 at the San Siro stadium. It would be assumed that Liverpool are at a great advantage to qualify when they would host the Italian Champions at Anfield.

FC RED BULL SALZBURG VS BAYERN MUNICH
The German kings Bayern Munich seems to have narrowly escaped danger yesterday when they play Salzburg. The German side popularly called "Disciplinary Committee" were held to a goal down before french winger Coman equalised at the 90th minute, to ensure it ended in a draw.

Salzburg made a big impression yesterday playing beautifully against a world class team with some much history in this competition. The home side took the lead in less than 25 mins and held unto it before Bayern Munich were able to equalise. Bayern had a total of 22 shots in the game with a possession of 72% but were unable to find the back of the net as expected frequently.

ATLETICO MADRID VS LEVANYE
Spanish Champions Atletico Madrid lost painfully to the bottom table team Levante. Levante travelled to the atleti's stadium with little or no fear but faith was on their side as they scored a beautiful goal in the 54 mins.

Atletico Madrid's reaction was an instant pressuring of Levante's defense. An opportunity came for Atletico Madrid after Correa scored an acrobatic goal but was cancelled by VAR due to a foul by Savic. It would extend Atletico Madrid's poor form at home and also reducing their chances of making it in top four.
