When you say cross country, the first thing that crosses my mind is cross country skiing :) I skipped it this year though :/

I've never done that type of skiing. Cross country running is quite a big thing here. It was a regular school activity that I did not enjoy back then. I was not a sporty child.
You've grown into spikes then :))
