I spent this afternoon, which turned out to be one of the saddest in Czech history, at the convent of Saint Agnes from 1231—an authentic gem of Bohemian Gothic architecture. The monastery, a part of the Czech National Gallery, houses the most exquisite collection of Bohemian art spanning the years 1200–1550. I captured some of its well-known pieces to share with you.

What a pity this event happened, how sad. Apparently the boy was deranged. I hope this is just an isolated event and that things like this don't happen there often. It is complicated this issue of gun ownership.

Interesante selección, vírgenes con el niño en brazos muy con el momento. Pero el primer cuadro llamo mi atención. El Cristo rodeado de las tres marías, quien parece un joven o un ángel y los que a mí me parecen los tres reyes magos.
Mi entendimiento es que al entierro solo asistieron Arimatea y Nicodemo, pero aquí hay otra historia.
