Premier League Table: Leicester Overlaps Liverpool.
The victory over Southampton put Leicester City in second place in the Premier League standings, while Liverpool are in third place.
In week 18 of the Premier League WIB on Sunday (17/1), Leicester beat Southampton at Kings Court.
The Foxes took advantage of Youri Tielemans' bait to take the lead through James Maddison's hard kick.
This victory put Leicester in second place in the Premier League standings with 35 or 2 points, while Liverpool fell to third.
However, if Liverpool can beat city rivals Manchester United at Anfield tonight, they could be top of the table.
At the same time, a draw, let alone a defeat, could make the Red Army worse off in the standings. If Manchester City beat Crystal Palace at home, even Liverpool could drop to fourth.
Currently, the top ranking is Manchester United who scored 36 points. If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team can beat Liverpool, they can go further; if they lose, they can drop to second place.
After Liverpool and Manchester United take on each other, the Premier League's top ranking could change. The match to determine the ruler of the Premier League will be held at Anfield Stadium.
