Halloween in Hong Kong 2024
Last week, I went to Tsim Sha Tsui to watch a colourful display about Halloween in Hong Kong organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board office.
They have used the Space Museum dome for this lovely display where you could see how this dome became a pumpkin and ghost and lovely pineapple bum, which is a famous snack in Hong Kong.
The display lasts 6 minutes at night, from 8:15 to 10:30, and it's very interesting for everyone. I have seen many parents take their children to watch this display wearing their Halloween costumes, and it is truly enchanting.
Initially, it's pretty crowded, but after people watch it, little by little, they start to leave, and you can go near. I have tried to take a selfie, but it isn't straightforward because the display light goes to your face and is unclear.
Also, It is interesting to see it because, on the bottom of the dome projection, you can see the people's shadows, where you see people with their hands up, and this is people taking pictures with their mobiles, and it seems to be part of the projection.
Finally, there are other places with Halloween decorations around the city; I took this picture at Causeway Bay metro station, where the electrical stairs have a Halloween theme.

Very nice decoration! It will a busy weekend with people visiting the place and taking pictures!
The Halloween display was only open until October 31, and I was so lucky to go on Sunday. Hong Kong never stops; they have cleared up all Halloween decorations and put the Christmas decorations in place already.
