My Actifit Report Card: October 13 2023
Today, I want to share the news that has kept Hong Kong people concerned and anxious for the last two weeks.
On 4 October, a 17-year-old boy went missing, and after seven days, finally, they found him alive, only with some brushes in their arms and limbs.
The boy is Matthew Tsang, a "Diocesan Boys' School" student and the last time people saw him was after school on 4 October with the direction to "Ma On Shan Country Park" in Shatin district.
The next day, after he was declared missing, about 100 people, including the Hong Kong police, along with Mountain Search and Rescue, which belongs to the Fire Service Department, started searching for him in that countryside area, using helicopters, drones, even using AI technology to analyse the photos and find any shape human body around the countryside. Still, unfortunately, they couldn't find him.
On 8 and 9 of October, a typhoon and black rain hit Hong Kong, and the rescue teams stopped for those two days. The rescue team resumed after the typhoon was gone, but still without any results.
Finally, on 11 October, the firefighters team found him sitting near some bushes half naked; immediately after, they provided him with some energiser water and asked him what happened with his clothes, and he answered that they got wet and that's why he removed them to avoid getting sick.
The police are investigating this case now because some things are unclear; for example, where he was found just a few hundred meters from the nearby village, how he survived all those days without water and food, plus the typhoon and black rain.
These are a few loose ends that are vague and unclear and need to be clarified with the police investigation to determine the main reason for making him go to this place.
Thank you for reading my post and your support. Have a wonderful weekend.

I am glad they already found the missing boy. Your photos are so pretty.
Hello @naniplayergamer, their family must happy. Have a nice weekend.
Awww poor kid. Thank God, they finally found him.
Thanks for your comment @bloghound. I can’t imagine how the kid was there all those days with the typhoon.
It's a mystery how it all happened but the good news to it is that he's alive and nothing happened with all those scenarios that passed while he was missing.
I saw some experts opinion on tv saying is very hard for human staying alive on that mountain because there are poison snakes and spiders, plus the typhoon. The police is investigating that case.
Beautiful photos 🤩 Is that Ma On Shan Country Park? Looks like easy to get lost there. Not going there by myself. Such a good news that the boy's found and he's alright...
Yeah, is easy to lost there if you don’t follow the hiking routes and some areas are inaccessible and if a person slip around there it will be very to find them.
No wonder the boy got lost. Better not visit that place with no company...
