My Actifit Report Card: December 13 2024

Hello Hive!

Yesterday morning, I started my day with a workout session using Freeletics. I must admit, I haven’t been very consistent this week.

That being said, splitting and stacking wood also counts toward physical activity, doesn’t it?

After a quick warm-up, my training goal was to run 2 km straight without stopping.

I know for some, that’s not much. But for me, it was a small challenge. To be honest, I stopped after 1 km. Then I walked 100 meters, ran 200 meters, and alternated like that until the end.

It was quite cold, with a slight breeze. I really struggled to regulate my breathing, and the icy air burned my throat.

In the afternoon, I tried juggling between progressing on my freelance tasks and installing Arch Linux on an old PC so I could use it again. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to complete the installation.

Hier matin, j'ai démarré ma journée par une séance de sport avec Freeletics. Cette semaine, je dois avouer que je n'ai pas été très assidu.

Cela dit, le bois à fendre et à ranger, ça compte aussi dans le quota d'activité physique, non ?

Après un rapide échauffement, mon objectif d'entraînement était de courir 2 km d'affilée, sans m'arrêter.

Je sais que, pour certains, c'est peu. Mais pour moi, c'était un petit défi. Pour être honnête, je me suis arrêté au bout de 1 km. J'ai ensuite marché 100 mètres, puis couru 200 mètres, et j'ai alterné comme ça jusqu'à la fin.

En fait, il faisait froid, avec un léger vent. J'ai eu beaucoup de mal à caler ma respiration, et l'air glacé me brûlait la gorge.

L'après-midi, j'ai tenté de jongler entre avancer sur mes missions freelance et installer Arch Linux sur un vieux PC pour que je puisse à nouveau m’en servir. Je n'ai pas réussi à terminer l'installation.
