My Actifit Report Card: June 19 2024

Hello Hive,

Today, I want to talk to you about an intense weather phenomenon currently affecting Corsica: the Sirocco. This hot wind, straight from the Sahara, has brought with it a strong heatwave for the month of June.

The Sirocco blows strongly, carrying desert dust that gives the sky a milky, sometimes ochre hue.

I woke up at 3 a.m. unable to fall back asleep due to the heat. So, I played some Pixels on my phone.

Then, around 4:30 a.m., as it was starting to get light, I decided to go out and capture these beautiful colors and the post-apocalyptic atmosphere.

I don't know if you've seen the Mad Max movies. I really felt like I was in one.

It was already very hot, so I decided to walk with my feet in the water. Currently, the sea is at 24 degrees. It's a shame I didn't have my swimsuit with me.

Aujourd'hui, je veux vous parler d'un phénomène météorologique intense qui touche actuellement la Corse : le Sirocco. Ce vent chaud venu tout droit du Sahara, a apporté avec lui une vague de chaleur très forte pour le mois de juin.

Le Sirocco souffle fort, transportant des poussières désertiques qui donnent au ciel une teinte laiteuse, parfois ocre.

Je me suis réveillé à 3h avec l'impossibilité de me rendormir à cause de la chaleur. J'ai alors un peu joué à Pixels sur mon téléphone.

Puis, vers 4h30, il commençait à faire jour alors j'ai décidé d'aller capturer ces belles couleurs et cette ambiance post-apocalyptique.

Je ne sais pas si vous avez vu les films Mad Max. J'avais vraiment l'impression d'y être.

Il faisait déjà très chaud alors j'ai décidé de marcher les pieds dans l'eau. Actuellement, la mer est à 24 degrés. Dommage que je n'avais pas mon maillot sous la main.
