My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2024
Hello Hive! Yesterday, in between freelance tasks on my computer, I did a bit of housework in my converted van.
There was a lot of accumulated dust. Especially as I was using the van to do some work on my property.
So I washed it down with black soap, vinegar and hot water.
When I opened the compartment where I usually put my 13kg gas bottles, I discovered that there was a lot of mold.
It wasn't easy to wash. But in 30 minutes, I managed to wash everything well.
There's no mold left at all. But I'll have to think about repainting this storage unit to bring it back up to scratch.
Once the bed was in place, we grabbed a few things and set off for 90 km to the sea.
The spot we found didn't have a sea view, but that didn't matter, as it protected us from the wind.
Even though I've cleaned out the storage space for the gas cylinders, I haven't put them away because I need to change some cables to be able to use the gas safely.
Fortunately, I still brought my little stove with me for cooking.
