January 13 2025 - Second

Second day of work this year. A slow start is what I like, especially when it's cold outside. Not very cold but cold enough for me to dream about summer and warmth. Don't get me wrong, I am an outdoorsy person, I have very practical and warm winter clothes, and omg, I haven't praised my barefoot winter boots to you. They are awesome. Anyway, as I was saying, I am an outdoorsy person in the winter too, but like fifteen minutes at a time, max half an hour. What can I say, I love summer more.

But you know, one has to love winter, at least a bit as it lasts about 9 months here, and when the summer comes, it may be 3 months long or 3 weeks, no-one ever knows. Although climate change has changed things, summers are longer and warmer, but it sure hasn't changed the fact how dark it is at winter time. A few hours of light and the rest of the day is like the night.
