It was very hot this morning, no clouds no breeze. But I walked a different route today and came upon this heron. I think they are called garza in Spanish.

Anyway this particular heron let me get real close to him so I took a few pictures.

Of course it eventually flew away

But then right in front of me I saw this other guy.

He or she or it also flew away.

If you look closely you can see it on the other side.
