EFL third round took place yesterday and we saw alots of clubs eliminated out of the competition, 16 clubs progressed to the 4th round of the competition which will take place in the month of October.
10 EPL teams still in the competition and we will be seeing them against each other. Machester united and Newcastle United will locked horns ones again at old Trafford to compete for a place in the last 8. The two teams who played last season final of same competition and it will be a rematch of the final.
Liverpool defeated Leicester at Anfield to progress to the last 4 round and will be facing a premier league team Bournemouth, they already faced each other in the league this season which Liverpool won with 3-1 and here they will meet again. I'm personally looking forward to that match as Liverpool fan.
Arsenal on the other hand will lock horns with Westham United at the London stadium to book a spot in the last 8, Westham have been in fine form this season compared to last season with the addition of James ward prowse, Eldson Alvarez, Mohamed Kudus, they have been doing great great.
Everton won at Aston villa 2-1 to secure their place in the 4th round after starting the season so low, i hope they can capitalise on this and become the team they use to be.
