In the green and wooded hills of the Rafael Petit community located in the Mata de Café sector of the city of Villa de Cura 112th street extension is located the Bioecological and Cultural Park La Aurora EC, a project that about two years ago Aura Petit, urban music artist and Jose Sanchez a martial arts instructor of our city undertook.

Precisely this week they are celebrating their second anniversary as a family business and among the many services offered by the AURORA EC is the Dojo Josan Kenpo, an open space where young athletes from neighboring communities can receive martial arts instruction from the hand of the friend Jose Sanchez who is the founder and main instructor of the Dojo Josan Kenpo within these facilities.

El día miércoles vio acción durante la celebración del segundo aniversario de la aurora una exhibición de Kenpo, palabra de origen chino que significa Ken puño y Po método o técnica, es una de las variaciones de las artes marciales que no incluye armas convencionales en su técnica y métodos de combate.

La actividad comenzó en horas de la tarde y contó con la asistencia de padres, madres, representantes y publico invitado por el sensei José y la directiva de la institución. También asistió como jurado de la exhibición el amigo Igor Martínez campeón nacional de la disciplina amigo de José Sánchez junto a otros jueces que le brindaron al evento mayor seriedad y vistosidad junto al grupo de estudiantes del dojo en su mayoría, niños y adolescentes de la comunidad de Rafael Petit.

Sports Celebration - Kenpo Exhibition

The activity began in the afternoon and was attended by fathers, mothers, representatives and public invited by sensei Jose and the board of the institution. Igor Martinez, national champion of the discipline, friend of Jose Sanchez, was also present as a judge of the exhibition along with other judges who gave the event more seriousness and attractiveness along with the group of students of the dojo, mostly children and adolescents of the community of Rafael Petit.

Desde que se fundó la Aurora EC una de sus visiones además de la protección del ambiente ha sido el impulso de actividades deportivas que redunden en la salud de sus habitantes, el complejo no solo cuenta con el dojo Josan Kenpo, sino que también posee un Spa y un gimnasio para realizar actividades de cardio y mucho más.

Está en el proyecto crear un sendero por las montañas para la práctica del Hiking o senderismo de montaña. A sus dos años no son muchos los estudiantes y personas que se ejercitan en la Aurora, por lo que recientemente han iniciado una campaña por los medios de comunicación de la ciudad y las redes sociales para aumentar la visibilidad de la existencia del sitio y de las actividades que allí se practican.

Promoting Local Sports!

Since La Aurora EC was founded, one of its visions, in addition to protecting the environment, has been to promote sports activities that benefit the health of its inhabitants. The complex not only has the Josan Kenpo dojo, but also has a Spa and a gym for cardio activities and much more.

It is in the project to create a trail through the mountains for the practice of Hiking or mountain hiking. After two years, there are not many students and people who exercise at the Aurora, so they have recently launched a campaign through the city's media and social networks to increase the visibility of the existence of the site and the activities practiced there.

¡Recientemente, esta pareja de emprendedores estuvo en el programa "Vamos a Emprender" de la sección Hive Tv SHOW! Del blog de la usuaria @yusmi y comentaron, entre otras cuestiones, la creación y existencia de la escuela de Artes marciales Josan Kenpo en las instalaciones de dicho lugar.

Aplaudimos la práctica de los deportes al aire libre por ponerlos en contacto con la naturaleza y felicitamos al mismo tiempo al sensei José Sánchez por el enorme trabajo que recientemente ha venido realizando en pro de rescatar a jóvenes de nuestros barrios al llamarlos a la práctica deportiva y hablarles sobre la salud corporal y la ecología respectivamente.

Aunque no reciben financiamiento de ningún ente privado ni gubernamental, el Dojo del profesor funciona con las cuotas mensuales que cada uno de sus estudiantes tiene a bien cancelar por la educación brindada por el y los instructores cosa que me parece justo y razonable para poder seguir funcionando. Estamos contento que nuestra ciudad tenga nuevas opciones para la práctica deportiva, gracias por leer al profe Gabo.
