My Actifit Report Card: November 5 2024
I just got back from my night jog, and I noticed that my left leg is hurting a bit. I think this is because I'm not accustomed to such an intense run, especially since I haven't done one in a while. This is a common issue I face whenever I take a long break and then return to jogging, pushing myself too hard to the point where my body can't handle it. This is something I need to take note of, as I've realized that consistency is a better approach than sudden bursts of intensity. I hope this makes sense to you; what I mean is that it's better to exercise at a manageable pace and do so consistently, rather than pushing yourself through an intense session in one go and then taking a long break. The problem with this approach is that the benefits of that intense workout don't last, and when we attempt it again, our bodies struggle to keep up.
The positive side of tonight is that I managed to achieve an 11,622 activity score for my Actifit Report, which makes me proud of my jogging session tonight.
