My Actifit Report Card: January 31 2023
It's good a nice view like this during an exercise routine.
Hello, Actifit community!
Yesterday, I started an exercise routine that consists of cardio and lifting dumbbells. I did it using a party music rhythm which is much faster than my usual rhythm. As a result, my upper back is aching and the back of my upper arms feel sore. I may have pushed myself too hard because the rhythm is almost similar to a HIIT exercise routine. Although my goal is to achieve the HIIT rhythm, I can't be doing it without the proper preparation for my body.
Even though parts of my body are still aching, I still managed to continue the routine for today; and on top of that, I even added new exercises into my routine. Here's what I did:
- 150 counts of Jumping Jacks (same as yesterday)
- 60 counts of dumbbells for the biceps (same as yesterday)
- 60 counts of dumbbells for the triceps (same as yesterday)
- 20 push-ups (added +10 counts)
- 40 mountain climbers (new)
After completing the routine, I rested for a while and took a hot shower afterward. I read from a blog that a hot shower will help relax sore muscles and help my recovery. I hope it will get better in the coming days.
