El piloto del equipo Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), Ty Gibbs del auto número 24 de la cual participaba como invitado para esta carrera, se llevó la victoria de la Kansas Lottery 300, que si bien no domino la carrera, no fue quien más lideró las vueltas, pero estuvo en la primera posición en la más importante, en la última y le dio la bandera a cuadros. Es importante destacar que este es un piloto novato y aparte de ello, no está corriendo a tiempo completo en la categoría, sino que está disputando algunas competiciones en la temporada. Esta es su cuarta victoria del año, lo cual es muy bueno y más a tan recién cumplidos los 19 años el 2 del presente mes y presente año. Es importante mencionarles que este piloto es nieto del dueño del equipo Joe Gibbs, pero sin embargo esto no quiere decir que por ello el piloto a disputado estas carreras, sino a que es un piloto bastante talentoso que está teniendo un año bastante sólido, no solo por sus actuaciones en la NASCAR Xfinity Series, sino por los resultados obtenidos en otros categorías, con la cual se ha ganado la oportunidad que está recibiendo.

Entre algunos logros que ha tenido este piloto en la presente temporada, a parte de las 4 victorias obtenidas, es el campeonato que logró este año en la ARCA Menards Series, que es una serie donde participan los jóvenes pilotos que desean llegar a las series nacionales. Ahora bien, volviendo a su participación en la Xfinity series, este piloto a parte de la victoria de este mencionado evento (Kansas Lottery 300), obtuvo su primera victoria en el circuito de Daytona International Speedway, en el Road Course, además de Charlotte y Watkins Glen, para sumar los 4 ganes que ya les había mencionado. Este piloto está teniendo un año bastante sólido y por lo visto creo que se merece una oportunidad a tiempo completo en la categoría, para que más temprano que tarde obtenga un cupo en la máxima división de NASCAR, la Cup Series.

Ahora, para darle un pequeño resumen de la carrera la primera etapa de la misma fue ganada por AJ Allmendinger #16, quien llegó como líder del campeonato y de los Playoffs de la Serie. Seguidamente en la segunda posición llegó el piloto Daniel Hemric #18, quien fue una de los pilotos que puse favorito para lograr el gane. En el tercer lugar de la etapa llegó Austin Cindric #22, seguido de Ty Gibbs #54 y Justin Allgaier #7 para cerrar el top 5. En la sexta posición llego Myatt Snider #2, seguidamente de Noah Gragson #9, Brandon Jones #19, Justin Haley #11 y Michael Annett #1 para cerrar lo que es el top 10. En este primer segmento vimos una buena batalla entre los pilotos por las primeras posiciones, además que la primera bandera de precaución salió en la vuelta 20 y fue de competición por el cambio de las condiciones de la pista, para que así lo equipos tuvieran la oportunidad de hacer cambio en la puesta a punto, ya sea bajando o subiendo la barra ya que es importante comentarles que en NASCAR se pueden hacer solo en carreras ciertas modificaciones en carreras, como el ajuste en la barra para que así poder cambiar el balance del auto ya sea porque el coche se va de frente o esta suelto en las curvas.

Un segundo segmento de la carrera que fue dominada por el piloto del equipo Penske, pero los pilotos más novatos de la serie dieron bastante pelea, con buenos adelantamientos, pero claro que siempre puede existir algunos incidentes, como despistes, choques, roces entre coches y otras cosas, pero en líneas generales y segmento bastante interesante.

El segmento final quien determino el ganador de la carrera que al final fue Ty Gibbs, estuvo igual de bueno que los anteriores, donde si bien el piloto Gibbs no tuvo el mejor auto ya que se quejó de lo suelto que estaba el auto y lo difícil que era conducirlo, más que todo en la curva 3 y 4 de ovalo, sin embargo este pudo controlarlo y sacarle el mayor provecho posible, tanto así para quedarse con la victoria. El piloto que más lideró vueltas fue Austin Cindric con un total de 151, seguido de Daniel Hemric con 15, el ganador de la carrera con 14, AJ Allmendinger con 10 Y Noah Gragson con 9 que a la final tuvo un mal resultado terminado en la posición número 35. El número de banderas de precaución donde al auto de seguridad salió a la pista fueron 7, lo que para mí fue una carrera bastante fluido y más tomando en cuenta que hay muchos pilotos que no son tan expertos. En fin, este evento fue buena, con grandes batallas, sobrepasos, roces y muchas cosas más que siempre nos da NASCAR.
