Liverpool still keeping tab on Madrid Asensio

Although the transfer window in the major leagues closed the night of September 1, rumors are still rumbling from there. The biggest clubs in Europe are already preparing the next transfer window's trades. One of the clubs that has sensors out there on profiles in the football world is the English vice-champions from Liverpool.

According to Spanish media Todos Fichajes, Liverpool have a keen eye for Real Madrid's Spanish profile Marco Asensio, who has never really realized his potential at the Spanish royal club.

The 25-year-old winger with the good kick has not had a starting place at Real Madrid for several seasons now, and is reportedly a potential transfer target for Liverpool, who are otherwise well occupied at the edge positions in the form of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Asensio has previously been linked with Tottenham. For Real Madrid, the Spanish national team player has reached 196 matches and made 37 goals and 22 assists.
